Inspiration

This is midland Creation's first attempt at creating a 1000% Kutani-yaki BE@RBRICK, hand-painted by the renowned Kutani-yaki artist Satomi Kawata. The piece depicts a scene of birds singing and flowers blooming with extremely delicate and elegant painting techniques, showcasing the unique beauty and exquisite craftsmanship of Kutani-yaki. Kutani-yaki is a traditional Japanese porcelain dating back to the 17th century, originating in the early Edo period. It was formerly employed in Shogun settings and bestowed as a luxury gift. It is renowned as one of the world's famous ceramics for its extremely complex production techniques and unique elegant and noble style, making it a collectible ceramic art piece.
